Most Calgary gyms focus heavily on children's programming (ages 5-18). Adult beginner options are limited and often require self-directed practice or prior gymnastics experience.
Alberta Gymnastics Federation annual insurance is mandatory for all participants (typically $17-48 CAD depending on facility and season). This is a provincial requirement, not optional.
Adult drop-in options tend to be unstructured open gym time. The only structured adult class found is Calgary Gymnastics Centre's Thursday program, which includes instruction.
