What locals say about singing in Calgary
Calgary offers very few group singing classes for adult beginners. Most vocal instruction is private 1-on-1 format. The only adult ensemble (Cantando) requires extensive prior choral experience and auditions.
Private vocal lessons range widely ($50-110 CAD/hour). Calgary Musicworks does not publish pricing online, requiring direct contact with locations for rates.
Calgary Actors' Studio integrates vocal coaching into musical theatre classes rather than offering standalone singing lessons. This may suit those interested in performance aspects.
