Same Page Book Club is completely free and meets monthly (last Sunday at Bright Jenny Coffee) with 63+ active members. No membership fee or registration required - drop-in format with 15% discount on featured books at Mosaic Books.
Source: goodreads.com ↗Book clubs in Kelowna are either member-hosted (Ladies on Literature, which rotates hosts) or venue-hosted (Same Page at Bright Jenny Coffee, Yacht Club). Major bookstores like Mosaic Books, Ted's Paperback, Pandosy Books, and Once Upon a Bookstore do not host regular book clubs themselves but support reader communities.
Source: mosaicbooks.ca ↗Okanagan Regional Library does not run its own standing adult book clubs but provides Book Club Kits for self-organized groups and offers staff support. Libraries (Downtown, Rutland, Mission branches) are resources for materials and discussion guides, not actual club venues.
Source: orl.bc.ca ↗Kelowna Yacht Club book club is restricted to members and their guests - it's a member-only activity, not open to the general public. The club meets the second Thursday monthly.
Source: kelownayachtclub.com ↗Kelowna genuinely has a small number of adult public book clubs. Same Page and Ladies on Literature are the main two open-to-all options. This reflects the research directive: it's better to report honestly about limited offerings than to pad with venues.
