Lions Gate Road Runners (LGRR), the first club in Vancouver to be dedicated to the promotion of long-distance running, was started in 1971 and has been an integral part of the Vancouver running community ever since. Our club established many major local runs, including the Vancouver Marathon, Haney to Harrison Relay, James Cunningham Seawall Race and many other races over the years.
